On February 27, 2026, students of KMU experienced an event that seamlessly blended science, technology, and bright emotions. Their gateway to the Universe was the Silesian Science Park Planetarium in the city of Chorzów.

Their introduction to space technologies went far beyond the screen. Interactive flight simulators allowed participants to feel the dynamics of motion, changes in trajectory, and the complexity of control in conditions closely resembling real space travel. Rotating platforms, the sensation of g-forces, and full immersion in virtual reality created the impression of a genuine journey beyond Earth.

The virtual environment revealed the boundless expanse of space—majestic, mysterious, and breathtakingly beautiful.

The students also took a leisurely walk along the alleys of Silesian Park (Park Śląski), where, amid the quiet of trees, they were lucky to see a wild deer.

This excursion became a vivid example of how learning can extend beyond the classroom, inspiring exploration, discovery, and bold dreams of reaching new horizons.
