Kyiv Medical University student Mmesoma Mary Francis won second place at the 34th International Medical Student Conference in Krakow


Kyiv Medical University consistently encourages its students to engage in research and scientific activities, and they, in turn, achieve success in these fields.

A sixth-year student of the International Faculty of the Polish Campus of Kyiv Medical University, Mmesoma Mary Francis, won second place at the 34th International Medical Student Conference, which took place on April 23–25, 2026, in Krakow, Poland.

Mmesoma participated in the “Mental Health” section, where she presented the results of her research titled: “Sleep quality, severity of insomnia, and migration-related stress among migrants and the native population of Poland,” which she conducted under the supervision of Associate Professor Tetiana Anatoliivna Odintsova from the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Physical Rehabilitation.

We are proud of the achievements of our students and encourage participation in student conferences, as every Kyiv Medical University student has the potential to win a prize.
