Kyiv Medical University Represents Ukraine at the 12th DiMiMED Conference in Düsseldorf

Oleksandr Pokanevych, MD, MPA, MSc, President of Kyiv Medical University, participated in the 12th DiMiMED Conference on Disaster and Military Medicine, held on November 11th-12th, 2024, in Düsseldorf. This significant event, organized alongside MEDICA, the world’s largest medical exhibition, gathered medical command-level representatives from NATO allies and other nations to discuss critical challenges in military medicine.
During the session on Disaster Medicine and the Humanitarian Perspective, Oleksandr Pokanevych delivered a presentation titled:

At Kyiv Medical University, efforts are underway to implement international courses in prehospital care as mandatory components of the university’s training programs.
