On April 11, 2026, students of the Polish Campus of Kyiv Medical University embarked on a bright and inspiring trip to Śląski Ogród Zoologiczny — one of the largest and most fascinating zoos in Poland.
The students spent the day in a calm and friendly atmosphere, observing animals and enjoying a walk through the zoo’s spacious grounds. A special impression was made by African elephants, giraffes, lions, and penguins — each showcasing their unique beauty, grace, and natural strength. It was also remarkable that the zoo covers nearly 48 hectares and is home to more than 300 species of animals from different continents.
The students had a unique opportunity to discover one of the largest collections of African wildlife in Poland and to visit the “Dinosaur Valley”, featuring life-sized reconstructions of prehistoric creatures.
