Kyiv Medical University Delegation Participates in SESAM 2025 International Conference in Valencia

From June 25 to 27, 2025, the city of Valencia (Spain) — one of Europe’s leading forums dedicated to simulation-based medical education. Kyiv Medical University once again took part in the event, presenting its latest developments and strengthening international partnerships.

Throughout the conference, the KMU delegation engaged in meetings with international experts, institutional partners, and colleagues from other Ukrainian universities. Discussions focused on the future of modern medical education, the expansion of simulation-based training, and opportunities for experience exchange in the training of healthcare professionals.

This year, KMU faculty members Dr. Iryna Avramenko and Dr. Mariia Yartseva contributed to the scientific program with their presentation “Stress Induction in Medical Education: A Comparative Study of Simulation Types on Medical Student Stress Levels.” The presentation sparked strong interest among participants, generated lively discussion, and opened new prospects for international collaboration.
