KMU Polish Campus partners with Dom Pomocy Spolecznej “WĘDROWIEC” for a Noble Cause

Kyiv Medical University (KMU) Polish Campus is proud to announce the start of a heartwarming and impactful collaboration with Dom Pomocy Spolecznej “WĘDROWIEC” in Bytom, a rehabilitation center dedicated to supporting children and adults with special needs. This partnership marks a significant step in our commitment to community service and hands-on learning experiences for our students.
Starting this month, Ukrainian and international students from KMU Polish Campus will have the opportunity to volunteer at “WĘDROWIEC” several days a week. This initiative not only allows our students to contribute positively to the lives of individuals with special needs but also enables them to gain invaluable practical skills and experiences in the field of healthcare and rehabilitation.

Our collaboration with Dom Pomocy Spolecznej “WĘDROWIEC” embodies the essence of KMU’s mission: to educate, empower, and engage our students in meaningful activities that benefit both the individual and the community.
The volunteering program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation processes and the challenges faced by individuals with special needs. By working closely with the professional staff at “WĘDROWIEC”, students will participate in various activities, including therapeutic sessions, recreational activities, and day-to-day care, enhancing their practical skills and enriching their educational experience.

This partnership not only strengthens the bond between KMU Polish Campus and the local community but also highlights the university’s dedication to fostering a culture of social responsibility and professional growth among its students.

We look forward to the positive impact this collaboration will have on both the students and the beneficiaries at Dom Pomocy Spolecznej “WĘDROWIEC”. Together, we can make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.
