Kyiv Medical University continues international cooperation within the ERASMUS+ project “RE-Direction”

Kyiv Medical University (KMU) is actively expanding its international partnerships by participating in the ERASMUS+ project “RE-Direction” (No. 101128509). The initiative aims to enhance higher education, promote inclusiveness, and implement innovative teaching approaches.
🌍Training in Georgia: Innovation and Inclusiveness
On October 6–7, 2025, Ilia State University (Tbilisi, Georgia) hosted a training session for participants of the “RE-Direction” project. The event gathered representatives from various European universities in a hybrid format to discuss key topics such as innovative approaches to inclusiveness, digital transformation of education, and sustainability in learning processes.
KMU Representatives
Kyiv Medical University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Tetiana Odintsova (Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Physical Rehabilitation) and Olena Khomyak, Dean of the Polish Campus at KMU.
They presented KMU’s achievements in sustainable development and innovative education.
KMU Course “Fostering a Sustainable Future”
One of KMU’s significant contributions to the project is the joint development of the course “Fostering a Sustainable Future” in collaboration with Ilia State University and Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University.
Assoc. Prof. Tetiana Odintsova presented the course structure and modules focused on ecological awareness, social responsibility, and sustainable professional growth of students.
Results and Next Steps
Participants discussed stakeholder engagement, inclusiveness (Karlshochschule International University, Germany), and education digitalization (University of Patras, Greece).
Partners agreed on the next steps for piloting courses on inclusiveness, digital education, and sustainable development in universities in Georgia and Ukraine.
